Angry and Upset
I am just so ANGRY! And who am I angry with? Why myself, of course.
I started out for physical therapy and as I was trying to back my car out of the snow-covered drive, I backed into a huge pile of snow and could move neither forward or backwards. I finally remembered I was a member of AAA and called. A tow truck pulled my car back out into the street. I had to dash madly out and ask him NOT to leave it there because it would cost me 35 dollars for every night it was there. He put it back in the parking place but said I would probably get stuck again if I tried to get out again. So, no physical therapy today and certainly no trip into the clay studio to get my homework assignment done.
At the moment, I am not even planning to go to school tomorrow because I am scared to try again.
Oh, and FINALLY, la professoressa answered my email. I do have the homework assignment.
I am too upset to do it, though…

At least you didn’t hit a car. It could always be worse. Hope your day goes a little, ok alot, better.

That is so frustrating! I’ve been there, with the stuck car and waiting in the cold for a tow truck. How awful. I hope your day gets better!

infuriating. tho i do agree, it could have been a lot worse. and has been for a lot of drivers over these past few days of terrible weather.

that sucks… we’ve had so much snow this winter I got my car stuck in a snowbank the other day trying to get out of my driveway and I was so lucky because my neighbor had hitch and towed me out.. I was on my way to a job interview and would have been soo late if he hadn’t been there at the right time.

That is frustrating. Sorry that that happened to you and that you will miss PT and your trip to the studio.

If I lived next door, I’d shovel your driveway for you. 🙂

Oh dear. 🙁

well, I understand that but… as the guy said, you probably couldn’t really help it at all and both you and your little car are both safe and well. My little car is looking slightly poorly today. Hugs to you anyway – things like that are very annoying.

Man! My car is totally stuck in the snow right now, too! We probably won’t have to call AAA, but still! Ridiculous! I could park it in the parking lot and not have this problem, but it’s all the way across camp and my automatic car started would then be pointless. Also: I don’t want to walk all the way across camp in the ice in the dark in my dress clothes, thanks! So instead, my car is stuck because I’m too stubborn and I have to drive Brian’s car instead. Which is all a long way of saying, “HUH! Me, too!”

Oh, how nerve-wracking and scary to hit that snow and then not be able to move forward or backward, and then having to call AAA. Maybe some hot tea and a day of rest will help.

Oh, hon…{{{{{{{{{{{{{HUGS}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}},

oh dear! That did make for a bad day. I hope you will soon be able to get out and GO the places you want to go! When we lived in northern Maine I was forever getting my car stuck in the snow also. hugs, Weesprite

Ohhhhh, I’m sorry honey!!!! I have to tell you though, I just had an image of you, standing out there with a blow dryer, melting the snow….. Hang in there. Spring is just around the corner! Love to you! ~M

My sympathies… I remember those snow drifts and getting stuck all too well from my “New York days”. I think it was Shelly who wrote… Oh blow west wind (pronounced like “wind” as in winding a spring) If winter comes Can spring be far behind… That used to be my mantra when I was so sick of winter!

Snow is such an annoying thing. Weather keeps us trapped.
