An Improvement

Fred seemed a lot better when I called this morning. His daughter called from the hospital while she was there and said he wanted his earphones {he has a hearing loss in one ear and the TV has to be turned up VERY LOUD SO HE USES EARPHONES. }  and the physical therapist wanted him to start trying to use his walker so Diane {his daughter} will pick the walker and the ear phones up on her way to the hospital. All this sounds good.

I have had a small but nasty attack of vertigo today which is why I didn’t go to the hospital even though I said I would. It is not a good idea to drive when one is vertiginous… I am feeling a lot better now and made myself the first meal of the day, an omelet with cheese and onion. And it seems to be staying where it was directed. {I have also experience vomiting with the vertigo.  } It is not serious and is called Benign Positional Vertigo.

I’m very glad to hear your good news, but sorry you were ill. Paul gets those attacks occasionally…one time he knocked a mailbox off its post in just those few seconds. Thank goodness that was all…

Why doesn’t Fred get hearing aides? I know they cost $1,000+ ea., but Lions Clubs take used aides & fixes them up for people who can’t afford the others. I got mine for $150 each, & they opened up a whole new world for me! I’m sure you’re glad, as well as Fred is, that he’s coming home.
