Afternoon Thoughts

 Another picture of the Adirondaks and Lake Champlain.

The book club meeting last night was interesting in that not one of us, even the person who suggested the book  {The English Patient} really liked it. We all agreed that there were next to no characters of interest and that the flash backs were very confusing. Mind you, I did agree with the person who liked the author’s choice of words. This is the first time I ever came across the word "autodidact." {one who learns by him or her self}

I spent a couple of hours at the local mall today and had my hair cut very short. I think I like it. I also bought two long-sleeved cotton tops for the price of one. I love sales! I looked at a lot of the sweaters but I already have all the sweaters I shall need for a long time since whenever I went to England, I bought Marks and Spencer’s out!

Fred is taking a nap and when he gets up, we are going out to eat. We then plan to take our cameras down to Perkins Pier on the waterfront to look at, and maybe take pictures of the sunset and the boats on Lake Champlain. Which reminds me that it would probably be a Good Thing to take the card out of the card reader and put it in the camera, right?

Until later…

ditto to Cinderella.

I’ve always liked the word ‘autodidact’.

You are a brave woman to go short with the hair. It always takes a few days to get used to the new look and for other people to get used to it too.
