A Very Short Entry

I got all the laundry done which was…  ummm, three loads—whites, permapress and flannel sheets. They were all dried, folded and put away. Well, maybe it is a slight exaggeration to say that the sheets were put away. I usually fold the sheets and one pillow case up and stuff them into the other pillow case. I started this years ago when I had to keep track of twin, double and king size sets of sheets. I also stripped the bed and remade it with clean sheets. But the point of this entry is to note how painful my muscles were when it was all over. I am feeling much better than I was when I came home from Italy but physical activities that I used to take in stride tend to knock me out these days.

In other news we had snow last night and this morning and more is expected on Saturday afternoon and into Sunday. I must top up the bird feeders tomorrow.

Until later…

You might want to mention this to your physical therapist. (((hugs)))

many hugs. I’ve been trying to incorporate simple stretches in the morning to limber up a bit. T’ai chi works rather nicely, and doesn’t risk any damage. There is nothing quite as nice as clean sheets…

I love your idea with the sheets…I’m going to try it as I have three sizes to try and keep sorted. Take care. 😉

You sure were industrious, though! I used to fold sheets. Now I confess, I just kinda ball them up and stick them on the closet shelf. Those fitted sheets are a pain to fold properly! hugs, Weesprite

Seems like the northeast has had more snow than other years.

I like the sheet tip. I like the idea of all the laundry being finished at once, too!

I read that as a tip somewhere- putting yoru sheets in with one of the pillowcases. Hope you start to gain some more strength back soon. Hugs, M

I tend to keep on washing and fold when Ben goes to sleep. He is a baby that loves to help. Only the laundry tends to become unfolded.

ryn: I got the information regarding the plates and have emailed Amazon. Hopefully there’s an easy solution 🙂

Boy do I know about how things that used to be easy seem to be much more of a challenge. Be gentle with yourself. You can still do things, just more slowly and with little breaks in between. Big hugs!
