A Very Brief & Mostly PT Update
Remember when I got so upset at not being able to do this? Well, today at physical therapy, we tried again. I lay on my right side with both legs bent and she helped me {Ummm, this means she held the leg and moved it for me! } move the top leg backwards and upwards just a bit. What happens is that she moves it for me and very gradually eases away from what she is doing to see what I can do myself. And I lifted my leg against gravity about half an inch all by myself and with only a very manageable amount of pain! Admittedly, I could only do it once but I did do it! I was SO pleased with myself! Leslie is pleased too. She said that I will see a quicker improvement once I can lift against gravity…
Rest of the day:
- Finish my "Firefly/Serenity " DVD marathon
- go look at folding sticks
- maybe get the walker downstairs and stored in the basement? Right now it is taking up space beside the bed and I am hanging clothes on it!
- see if I can remember how to get some pictures into Photobucket.
- go for a walk—maybe a mile?
QUOTATIONS:

Good for you!!!!! I need to find a place to put Es walker besides in the extra bedroom. that’s also where we have two sets of crutches. Then there’t the elevated toilet seat that he no longer needs. It’s in the bathroom closet. Heck, I think we could open our own medical supply store! LOL Hope you get a nice walk in!! Hugs, M
