A Sunny Day!

It is a lovely sunny day and NO snow is falling!

Much to my genuine surprise, I seem to have lost a day somewhere! It wasn’t until a few minutes ago that I realized that today is Monday! Physical therapy tomorrow!

This morning I was up around 3:45 and back in bed at about 5 am. I slept comfortably until about 8:30. Unusually, Fred was up before me and he had made coffee which is usually my job.

I am slowly working through the mess in my work room. I have a big box of recyclable paper which I need to hold onto until after Christmas. I say this because I know we will have boxes and paper to put out after we open presents and, as I told Fred this morning, I intend to send email to our landlord {and tell him if I see him} saying I have a big stash of recyclable paper and will he please let me know when he is carrying trash off so I can give him this too. Yes, I could put it out but it would be a soggy mess in a few days. There are many things to like about Bryce, our landlord, but his dealing with the trash is NOT  one of them. All the trash cans are full and there is one bag on top of the can. I have put a bag of non-recyclables outside our door on the deck because I do not want to slog through the deep snow to put it in the trash cans, yes, that would be the stuffed-full trash cans! And, of course, on this weekend when we need snow shoveled, he is gone.

Ok, this has been a short pause in the day’s things-to-be-done so I am off to clean the bathroom. I have done the kitchen, except for the floor. Hmmm, I must check with Fred about him being in there. It doesn’t take long for the floor to dry so I can probably get it done before he goes in there for breakfast. {We have this joke about him messing up the kitchen right after I have cleaned it! }

Until later…

I would find it hard to think nicely about a landlord who didn’t carry off the trash and shovel my snow promptly…. but I am quite a crotchety person sometimes! I hope that everything you clean stays clean for at least a few hours! :o) !! hugs, Weesprite

I think it depends on your age too when you use a cane. I get lots of stares when I use mine. And that would tick me off about your landlord. I think its time to tell him that he’s not doing his job.

You shouldn’t have to stash your garbage. Harumph!

I think it must ne somehting about men walking on wet kitchen floors and messing up newly cleaned kitchens. E is the same. LOL Hugs, M

T used to do that to me all the time. He’d wait until I just barely finished washing the dishes then find some trumped-up excuse to dirty something. A glass, a knife, whatever. I called him on it one time and he doesn’t do it so much any more. I still don’t know why they need to do it, though.
