A Small Update

  • The Incredible Moving Tomato Plant will be on the move again tomorrow. According to Fred, it will get more sunshine if I put it out by the landlord’s tomato-in-a-pot which is by the garden he and his girlfriend just put in. Fred is right about the sun.
  • Today I did a quick trip to the grocery store because we were out of bread which is practially a mortal sin in this household!
  • Today was another sit on the deck and read day.
  • However, I did move a rather-the-worse-for-wear set of shelves from the deck. I also got rid of some old plastic pots. "Got rid of’" means I put them by the other piles of trash which, one hopes. will get moved eventually.
  • Tomorrow I am going to get a biggish plastic box into which I can put the chair pads I have just bought for the chairs on the deck.
  • Photos will happen eventually.
  • I am wearing a black T-shirt that says "There is no place like 127.0.0.1"

QUOTATIONS:

Hello, random noter. I wish I could read my old english teacher’s blog because I’m positive if she had one, she probably kept some nasty things about me in it!

I’m glad that you’re getting your tomatoes to grow. 🙂

Your tomato plant saga cracks me up. 🙂

RYN: Yes that’s fine! Write away! Don’t say anything too mean, though. *grin*

I’m sure that t-shirt is very clever, but I don’t have a clue what it means.

“There is no place like 127.0.0.1” LOL! A computer geek like me would get that.

Click those heels together dorothy and dream of 127.0.0.1 and be glad it isn’t in hex. Like I had to program in back when I was a child in the computer days when there weren’t even laptops!!! Well we had laptops but they were only for girls to sit on. hahahaha have fun with the tomatoes, maybe genetics could give them legs…dan

Love the shirt! You sound very content out there in the sun reading (but I hope that you’re putting sunscreen on!).

Any reason you stopped baking bread? When do you use the Kindle? When do you read a real book?

i just saw that tee shirt on a site i was looking at to understand 127.0.0.1. i still don’t completely understand it. but, that’s okay. i got that it’s a joke and that there’s no place like home. take care,

So long as the tomato plant doesn’t move on its own… 😉

Love the picture in your corner up there.

I’m sure the two tomato plants will enjoy striking up an acquaintance, now that they are sitting side-by-side! :o) !! ryn: I do take a book to work….and a crossword book too…. plus I have my chair there. I may have a whole lot MORE there, before the summer’s done! :o) !! hugs, Weesprite
