A Short Update
- dishes done
- watermelon cut up {Fred} and sampled {me}
- two calligraphy books taken downstairs to Melanie who asked me would I teach her.
- a toaster and two toaster-ovens taken to the recycle place
- all our board games taken out from under the chair where they are normally stored
- a box of calligraphy pens belonging to Fred taken out from the same area and tidied up to give to Melanie when we go down there
We are going downstairs at 5 pm to discuss when Mike and Melanie are moving, how our moving will go and specifically whom can we expect to do it, and for Fred to walk through the apartment so he can tell the movers where everything goes. Our new rent starts on August 1st….
Gulp!

I understand the whole “happening fast” move. I feel like all of my moving stuff has happened in about two seconds. It’s insane. I know you and Fred will also be ok with your new situation, just as you seem to know that I’ll be ok with my new situation!

It always surprises me how fast time passes. You think you’ve got a WHOLE MONTH before you have to do something, and all of a sudden, it’s TWO DAYS. Where does it go?
