A Plan for the Printer & Other Stuff

Things that need to get done in the next day or so: {This list is for me but you can read along, too, of you want to. }

  • Get the floor of the workroom clear before the new printer arrives on Tuesday or Wednesday. I want to get this done today.
  • Do laundry {today’s chore}
  • After the floor is clear, start on the homework desk which is piled high with stuff that is not homework!
  • kitchen floor {today}
  • Maybe look for a table for the new printer.
  • Get the coat stand out of the workroom. This will give me room to move the two desks to the left and eventually put a table for the new printer in the space thus made.
  • Get a fan into the workroom. This is the only room that doesn’t seem to benefit from the two air conditioners!

In other news, I got email from our previous landlord, Mike, that he and his wife have a son, Isaac. {Well, that is how *I* would spell it. He spells it Issac. I don’t know if that is an error because he spelled it with two a’s in the email heading! They also have a daughter, Gretta and yes, it DOES have two t’s!}

In Kindle news, I have been experimenting with deleting books when I have read them. They are not really gone forever because Amazon keeps them in a section under my account. One can download everything that has been bought back to the Kindle very easily. I discovered this when I accidentally deleted a book I had bought and not yet read.  Now it is back on my Kindle.

The Incredible Moving Tomato-in-a-pot is doing very well. The topsy-turvey tomato is, against all odds, still alive.

Now, I am off to eat toast and drink coffee and them make a start on today’s jobs…

The change in books and reading is amazing. I rarely purchase newspapers, but read several a day. You are an ‘early adapter’. I like these kind of people, and you are on my list. be well…dan

I think you make lists like I do. They are week long lists. LOL! I find it odd how people spell their children’s names, now a days.

All of my plants I put out have died. I am thinking that the bag soil just didn’t have anything in them. So… cursing may help…lol. But I am going to just redo.

RYN: Thanks. We have 3 tower fans and 2 window units and we’re staying pretty cool so far! We love the tower fans. Just glanced over to your interests and saw that you like Leonard Cohen. How cool is that?! Have a great day!

i keep saying i’m going to make a list but just don’t get around to it. glad you were able to get back the book you deleted. fresh, homegrown tomatoes sure do sound good. what a wonderful sandwich that would make! take care,

I tried to make a list of everything I needed for my trip to NY but gave up on it. I just wasn’t focusing enough on it. I think I will do much better just packing it. We’ll soon have ripe tomatoes! Can’t wait!! Hugs,M
