So you and Fred don’t have turkey or anything today? Hmmmm. L I am soooo with you on yappy dogs! Thank goodness ours aren’t. I can’t stand the little high pitched barks!! If you knew my Shiloh you would like at least one little dog but I know what you mean about the “yippy” ones. They are annoying. LOL, funny your other note is from another Shih-tzu owner like me.

Oh, my gosh, are you telling me I am old??? I have a corn on MY little toe on the left foot. I am working on getting rid of it with those medicated little pads that DO work as long as one is persistent about using them. I agree with you about the yappy dogs. I have to face one on Christmas Day. Fred is a lucky man what with chocolates and ALL!

Me, too, on the yappy dog issue. I don’t mind ’em small. It’s the yappy part. I keep having the evil thought that “this would be good for football practice.” And since you don’t do Thanksgiving, have a happy 4th Thursday! 🙂

That’s not true about only old ladies getting corns! I’m not so keen on tiny yappy dogs. Give me a big Springer Spaniel,or labrador any day!

Those little yappers are the BANE of my existance. My friend wants to bring her two little yappers camping with us and I told her I was staying home if they came. I’m not doing Thanksgiving this year…Jake’s not here anyway 🙁

The apathy is something that will drop away bit by bit. About the people coming, I can empathize so much because I often feel that way, too, then I usually have a good time and am exhausted when it’s over. I hope it’s that way for you, too!

i don’t like noisy dogs of any size. little yappers are the worst though!! i hope you have had a nice day today, anyway. in all the years you’ve been here you have never gotten into the thanksgiving holiday? is there are sort of thanksgiving holiday in england or is it just in canada? take care,

I’m with SO on this. You get more distance out of the little ones. And you can fit so many more of them in a chest freezer. BTW did you tell Fred the English version of thanksgiving and the licking off of Ghiradellis chocolates. You could start the tradition now, it is never too late. HAVE FUN…dan

I have observed small yippy dogs are universally disliked by everyone that encounters them. So why do so many people own them?

Hmmmm, I celebrated Thanksgiving even though I’m German. I remember celebrating it in spring time (I think) when I was younger, just the date has changed. 🙂
