A List
- I watched "The Barber of Seville" on PBS for three hours today and loved it. There were were subtitles but I was surprised how much I actually understood. Of course, it helped that well as the subtitles, there was a lot of repetitions of lines.
- This, serendipitously, made a good start to my resolve to do something in Italian for an hour a day. I have, of course, a chart to fill out daily!
- It is a little unnerving to go to check one’s bank account and find the site is down for some reason. I have a faint feeling in the back of my mind that they said something about it a week or so ago.
- It rained a bit today and I am surprised how much the newly-planted flowers perked up. I DID water them after I planted them.
- Fred is making something for supper in the kitchen. I hear him banging rhe pans around.
- I have no idea where this day has gone–well, except for three hours!

I love foreign movies. And it helps when you understand it without having to read it 🙂

You did a ton. I love opera even without the sub titles. I never know what they are saying, I just enjoy the music.

ryn: It is a half day for teachers and students. By “half day” I mean we stay until 1pm. Which, to me, isn’t a half day at all. This school requires that we give the students lunch if we start the school day, so we have to stay til 1. Basically it’s a full day, and we get sent home early.

RYN: Now if I can just find the Summer pause button…I’d probably never “unpause” it. lol

Rain water is what those plants want. It is warmer, and has more nitrogen in it. They are much happier with rain water.
