A Good Day

I feel as if today has been a very good day. First, I got up an hour earlier than I usually do. This was unplanned actually but we got a phone call from the drug store. I didn’t answer it and let the machine pick it up, but since I was awake, I got up. I don’t know how I got into the habit of getting up at 9 instead of 7. I do so much better when I get up early.

Anyway, today I have given the kitchen a really good cleaning including the floor. I also put clean sheets on the bed and did 20 minutes on the treadmill. Tomorrow I intend to go up and down stairs a lot because now I have two baskets of dirty clothes to wash and dry. I am also definitely going to clean snow off the two cars, definitely clean the bathroom and, possibly walk on the treadmill again. I don’t have to because I have done two out of the three treadmill sessions I promised myself I would do per week so I can take a day off if I want to.

It is getting on for 9:30 and I am seriously considering going to bed to read. I have a trilogy of good books. The one I am reading now is called Shakespeare’s Champion and it is the second in the series. The heroine is called Lily Bard and the town she lives in is called Shakespeare! They are not Great Literature but they are very readable and Lily Bard is an interesting character.

You sound more energetic than you did just 6 months ago! You’ve come a long way! (((Hugs)))

What a productive day! You deserve to curl up under the covers with a good book. Sounds like you’re doing great.

Now I have to look into that series of books.

I hope you enjoyed the book 🙂

A trilogy of good books and time to read = definition of bliss.

I wish I was a morning person.

That sounds like a book I would probably enjoy. I like books with quirky, colorful characters and settings. You did a lot today! I had my Day of Much Accomplishment on Monday and haven’t accomplished very much since! :oO !! hugs, Nicky

I’m inspired by your continued dedication to the tredmill. I need to save up for one… wish that I hadn’t had to sell mine before I moved to NC!
