A Day as Usual!

I just realized I didn’t write yesterday! Oh, well, it is not as if there are hordes of people waiting to read what I write because my life is so exciting!

Yesterday I went to our local Bed, Bath and Beyond and bought a white toaster as per Fred’s request! {Our kitchen is very white} It actually turned out to be the same toaster as the red one only white! I then went over to the recycle place and gave them the red one. I did, of course, tell them that it didn’t work but that doesn’t matter because they fix things like that before putting them in the place where they can be sold.

I also had a lovely browse around the place where they have the go-on-holiday small sizes of various things, but I was good and just bought toothpaste. Fred was a busy bee yesterday and after his podiatrist’s appointment, went out to the bank {which is in the grocery store} and then came back with , among other things, two bags of potato ships. So, for supper we had chips and dip. {We had dip aleady because I like to use it as a spread on bread with cheese.}

And this morning, I had a banana, coffee and TOAST!

Today the only thing I have to do is to go to the hospital at 11 am and give blood for my surgery. {Note to self: Ask for a voucher for parking} I think I will leave the house early and stop by the library since I go in that direction. Hmmm, I had better get my coffee finished, my teeth brushed and myself out of the door if I want to do the library thing before giving blood.

Oh! We all {I assume} got a note from la prof this morning that grades are posted only we cant see them until the after 6 pm since the CCV Blackboard software is down until 6 pm tonight.  I am not terribly excited about my grade. It won’t be an A but I haven’t failed. Just think, this will be the last grade I get since everything I am taking from now on will be audited!

I want a new toaster. As much as I love my Hello Kitty one, it just doesn’t cut the mustard. LOL (I think that’s how the saying goes).

….well, *I* was waiting to read what you write, cuz your life is exciting! :o) !! Next time I get a toaster, I want to get one in colors. Chrome is rather hideous, and that’s what we’ve always had! hugs, Weesprite

chips and dip for dinner?? That sounds extraordinarily… nutritious. -pointed stare- Won’t you be surprised when you end up with an A anyway. LOL!

Just think, you made it through the course and you didn’t quit. You should be proud of that and not worry about the grade at all. Of course, I was the same way you are. Have a great day!

I think we need to get a toaster. We have a toaster oven and it doesn’t toast the bread very evenly at all. I have a feeling that your Italian grade will be better than what you are imagining! BUT, YAY for auditing the next go round. I bet you’ll enjoy it tons more that way! Hugs, M

🙂 Good luck with the blood giving.

Congratulations on completing your class. That’s a job well done, and now you are prepared to go to Italia. My son had a fabulous time there, and can’t wait to go back again. You’ll probably have an even better time since you can at least speak the language.

I noticed no entry 🙂 And sounds like the new white toaster will fit in perfectly in your white kitchen.

🙂 I bet that grade isn’t half as bad as you think. I smiled at your note to yourself as Sean and I always forget to pick up our voucher for the parking.

No More Grades! Yeaaaaaa

Great that you can give blood for your own surgery. I don’t think we can do that….I think I might ask if I have surgery next year.

I like your daily entries, not that I make a daily entry. 🙂 I read about your chip and dip dinner in Fred’s diary. How decadent. I wouldn’t mind a few potato chips right about now.

ryn: 🙂 how right you are. I learnt that first in teaching and then decided to apply it to my home life. One day I will become a wise woman 😉 I’m working on it.

Love the new look!
