A Before-Class Entry

I got up at 5 am this morning although I didn’t need to since all of my Italian homework was done! I miss the stimulus of art class but I certainly don’t miss the pressure of having to have something done by a certain date.It was nice to be able to take a day off completely from school assignments.

Well, as I mentioned yesterday, I have five pictures which are going to be professionally matted and framed. They will be ready on the 27th of this month. It was expensive {I didn’t get much change from $400} but then I expected it to be. I know good matting and framing people are expensive. One I had done is the fish-eye up there on the left! The others are the cat and tomato, the portraits of J & K, the center of the Green Person triptych,  and the eye of the little pink and blue frog.

I have just packed my bag for class this morning and I am listening to the banging and heavy-footedness going on upstairs. I went out front to put a letter in the mailbox and I think Bryce is having some furniture delivered. Right now he is sleeping on a blown-up airmattress! Of course, all this walking around upstairs isn’t bothering me since I am up but it would if I was in bed. However, Fred seems to be sleeping through it. Actually, Bryce is not normally walking around overhead at this hour. The big truck outside is one of those Penske rentals and I bet the guy helping him is a friend doing this before work!

Until later….

I was hoping you’d say you had the portrait of me and J framed. I love that one… in fact I had prints made of it at Walmart so my Mom could have it to put on her desk at work 🙂

It is your artwork and it should be worth framing even if it is exspensive. I couldn’t think of a better thing to spend your money on. I wish I was as lucky as you to be a good artist.

RYN: That is probably the highest compliment I’ve ever been paid!! Enjoy them in good health.
