Our moving day is SATURDAY. Yes, THIS coming Saturday!

But Fred and I  were talking this morning and decided we have, as my Auntie Babs used to say, "broken the back" of this packing. This means that we have done half or more.

Fred was packing books this morning. There are some VCR tapes we can’t get to until some boxes are out of the way. I have just filled a box with stuff and will do another when I am through here. There is a book case we can’t get to until the boxes in front of it are moved.

The kitchen has been started but barely. That is the biggest job left. This will be done on Friday.

I can see that we will be packing boxes as young people with strong backs are moving the already-packed boxes, tables, chairs and bookshelves around us on Saturday.

Until later….

The good news is, that as soon as they start hauling out boxes, you will begin to see a huge difference and the burden will feel lighter. Just don’t go downstairs to see what it looks like when they pile up the boxes. 🙂

You are doing greeeeeeeeeat! :o) !! And yep, it does get to a point where it’s very hard to do MORE packing, because already-packed boxes are in the way! It’s too bad all your OD friends don’t live closer; you’d have tons of help and it could turn into a Moving Party! :o) !! hugs, Weesprite

I think you’re so far ahead of the game. really.

You are almost done. Then it is the unpacking. I like that part much better. Almost like Christmas — seeing things in a new light and finding new homes for them.

Soon, soon it will be all over and you’ll be unpacking the boxes.

So the proverbial light is showing at the end of the tunnel? What a difference that makes.

You are planning some kind of celebration when this is done, yes? You deserve it!

It will be ok. You’re going to be surprised at how much easier it will be once boxes start disappearing! Wishing you nice cool weather!!! Love ya! ~M

are you moving very far away? i was remembering that if the move is close, and the truck doesn’t “bounce” a lot, that you don’t have to pack as carefully. i say that because wrapping every little thing in paper gets old (and expensive) quite quickly! so glad you guys have broken the back on this thing.

You’re almost there..hold on!

Thank goodness you are getting some folks to come and help you. There is nothing more maddening than having to move stuff to get to stuff, repeatedly.

i wish you all the best with your move. take care of you beautiful ::*::AsiminA::*::
