Sweet Dreams
Chelsea will only stay on the bed with us until we turn out the light, then she jumps down and goes toward the dressing room and hunkers down for the night. I pad along behind her, blankets in hand and cover her like a rolled sausage.
This morning she woke us very early, along about the time when the chill and dampness in the air make you pull the covers up over your head. She was cold and shivering.
George pulled her into bed and scrunched her down between us, her little munchkin face buried in the pillow.
She snores very daintily and it was so sweet and snuggly to be there beside her.
I wish she would do that every night, but I know she won’t. I smiled as I drifted back to sleep feeling thankful for sweet glimpses of heaven.
Awww, what a sweet picture this conjures… – yes, I’m up late too, this dratted insomnia! RYN: It was the Newport Bay Restaurant, a lovely place with great food and an outstanding staff. And of course I will do a Tarot for you sometime!

I too wish my animals would sleep with me. When I was a child, my cat slept with me every night. I am glad you had a little bit of time that way. :o)

I miss my cats .. my dh is quite allergic. My cats used to sleep nestled on my feet, I really enjoyed it. Hehe, although I had to toss them off a few times when they would come up by my face to drink my water!! I keep telling dh there are remedies for allergies .. the day is coming when I will choose the cats over him. I miss them incredibly. hugs,

My Oink will sleep the night with me but the others are too particular.

Mme. Odile will simply NOT sleep on my bed when I’m in it. Our arrangement appears to be that I get the down comforter at night, she gets it all day long. Seems fair. Though I do kind of wish she was more forgiving. Surely I don’t snore that loud?

Would George approve if she did it every night? Pawes and consider this patalija *smiling*

Have meandered over here after seeing you in other diaries and thought I’d say hello and tell you that I’ve enjoyed reading your thoughts from a few entries back up until this one. I’ll be coming back for me, I’m sure.

Sometimes it would be nice to glue little feet with velcro just to make them stick a while longer.

Hi patalija. I was sure that I left a note here? Problem is although I love your diary colours, my eyes don’t manage the notes part. Difficult to read. Thanks for the reminder:) Hugs

Our cats try to sleep with us, but get sick of being tossed about. I don’t know where they end up spending the night.
