Starved

I woke up late this morning.  Well, not late for something.  More the boys just let me sleep in.  Was really weird.  Miles woke up screeching at 5:30am.  Popped his bink back in his mouth and he was out.  Emmit woke up from his screeching.  I made him a 4oz bottle and he was back asleep.  They didn’t require me to start my day until 8am.  Was kinda nice.

I HAD to eat breakfast this morning.  Normally I don’t.  But man I woke up STARVING.  Not sure what that was all about.  I ate more then enough dinner last night.  And it was a late dinner.  We ate around 7pm.  So, again it’s not like I went a long time without eating something.  I’m pretty sure it’s a small sign Aunt Flo will be visiting soon.

No weird baby dreams last night.  Which is good, I don’t think I can handle having them every night.

I don’t know what weird position I was sleeping in last night, but I woke up at some point and my ENTIRE right leg was numb.  Yet it hurt like hell.  Funny how that works out, something is numb yet hurts.

Emalee is over visiting this morning.  Nothing new about that.  What is new though is she didn’t trot over on her own.  Normally she escapes from her house and sneaks in my back door bright and early and her mom doesn’t know until she’s already here lol.  Park management needs to get their asses moving on fixing her door.  Last couple that lived there sorta broke it.  The guy was beating the woman.  So one day when he stormed out she shoved her couch in front of the door.  He returned and busted the door open.  Tore up the door frame.  So now it won’t lock.  You can close it, but requires no work with the handle.  Just a simple push to close and pull to open.  Any 2 year old can open a door like that (that’s how old Emalee is, though she’s almost 3).

I think today I’m going to look up ideas for Halloween costumes.  Not sure what to get for the kids.  Josie will of course pick her own.  But I’m sure a new tutu will do just fine.  Especially if I make a sparkley shirt to match, then she’ll be a princess.  But who knows, maybe she’ll want to be a worm or something weird this year.  I want the boys to be "matching".  No they aren’t identical twins, but they are still twins.  I’d like to do something like…Bert and Ernie matching costumes…just not those characters.  So something that matches, but isn’t identical.

And why is it kids seem to think you need a buddy for using the bathroom?  Josie is pretty good about not following me.  So 9 out of 10 times, I get to go alone.  Am I right in thinking that’s more then most? lol.  However, the number drops when Emalee comes to visit.  Josie thinks it’s hilarious to send her into the bathroom while I’m trying to relieve some pressure (haha).

Bah damn kids are fighting.  Over a naked barbie.
