Squee~~!!!

Ok I so should have had my zombie juice this morning (coffee lol).  I’m in a sleep deprived hyper mood LOL.  But then again, with reading updates on people how could I not be?  It’s just so totally awesome!  I’m so super excited.

But, also another thing to be excited about…

29 DAYS TO GO BEFORE OUR BIG D-DAY!!

I can’t believe it’s almost here.  It feels like time has gone by fast.  And oddly enough I’m still finding it hard to believe I’m going to be giving birth to babies soon.  TWINS!  Something totally unexpected.  I mean, I wasn’t taking anything to help me get pregnant.  Twins just happened on it’s own!

Oh I can’t wait to hold my baby boys!  Even if they will be mostly naked all the time haha.  Still don’t have much for clothes.  My mom keeps getting me crap for them to wear next year lol.  Don’t get me wrong, I’ve got a good 5-6 outfits and about 4 sleep gowns.  Sadly though the outfits are so not mix and match LOL.

I bought the boys some mittens yesterday.  The ones you put on them so they can’t scratch up their faces.  I’m afraid to cut their nails (and they aren’t even here yet! lol).  I remember the first time I did Josie’s…I kinda snipped her finger.  I know I can’t keep mittens on them 24/7, but it’ll help me some lol.  I also bought them a small fleece blanket with a stuffed animal.  One is Mickey Mouse and the other is Winnie the Pooh.  Don’t ask why I did, it was comfort shopping is all I can say LOL.  Although I really could use the blankets.  You really do need a good 4 or so blankets for babies (not the receiving blankets).  So far I only have the ones I made the boys (a puppy one for Emmit and an Air Force one for Miles) and these 2 I bought yesterday.

I have more baby beds then we need.  The count is up to 4 lol.  We have the travel bassinet/play pen combo and the cradle I bought for $10 and restored.  Well, over the weekend we went to my mom’s house and came home with a crib and another cradle (which is smaller then the one I had, can only fit one baby in this one).  The crib is an older one.  Or rather one I’m not used to.  Instead of the rod at the bottom with a foot pedal to make the railing go up and down it has something on the top.  Don’t know what it’s called, can’t think of it off hand lol.  But they are metal, one on each side.  There’s a spring in each one.  You just squeeze those little things up and then the railing can slide up and down.  It’s not easy to do.  One side requires both hands to do it.  Yeah, really old furniture.  But it’ll do for the first couple months I suppose.

That’s pretty much it.  I just wanted to tell everyone there’s only 29 days to go til D-Day.
