Picturebook 732: Top Shelf

Somehow, I managed to carve my way through the offensive zone, shedding two defenders.

Somehow, I managed to get a shot off while falling to the ice.

Somehow, I managed to roof the puck, top shelf, right under the crossbar.

If you look closely, you can see the puck in the back of the net in a couple of shots. The goalie is probably thinking to himself, "how the FUCK did that go in?

One of the nicer goals I’ve scored. And… that was the second of three goals I scored tonight. Not a bad night, considering I had a brand new twig. I think this is my third hat trick of the season.

As much as I like scoring goals, I think I might like assisting on goals even better. I had a real nice one tonight… it was a 2 on 0. I faked a shot and slid the puck over to my left where the d-man on my team tapped it in. It’s really satisfying to be able to set up plays like that.

But, I gotta say- given an opening, I got no beef ripping it, myself…
