Nearer My God To Thee

Wow… I can’t believe OD is actually back up.

Okay, people. It’s 2013, for fuck’s sake. There is a plethora of social network media, and countless online information dissemination platforms that are available almost anywhere, from any laptop, desktop, tablet, or smartphone. Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr… this isn’t 1998, where you had to sit in front of a G3 desktop and access websites from a 28.8 modem that was hardwired to your fucking computer. 

It is absolutely inexcusable for a website to be down for this long, with nary an update or a mention from the administrators. 

I mean, Jesus… fuck… as much of a clusterfuck that the Obamacare website was (just the website- I’m not gonna get into the legislation itself, just to be clear)… at least they fucking told us what was going on. Told us that the problem would be fixed. Told us that someone was working on it. At least attempted to make us believe that someone gave a shit.

It’s sad that what was once a thriving online community has fallen victim to such incompetent management. It’s really a fucking shame. Those of us who have stuck it out deserve better- we needn’t be penalized for going down with a presumably sinking ship.
