Thursday

Thursday was a good day.

Jan worked out at the YWCA, then came by my home and picked me up. Together we went shopping at Hobby Lobby, and then another fabric store, to try and (unsuccessfully) find the right yarn she needed for a needlepoint project.

Then we came back here, and I made a kind of dinner consisting of spinich salad, Pilsbury cresent rolls, and left-over sloppy joe. Dinner conversation moved into a sampling of music tastes (as she is going through the stage where her teenage daughter likes listening to explicit grunge).

She left for home at 9:30. It was nice to have a dinner guest, even if it was bachelor food (I am getting my kitchen reconoitered, okay?!!).

And, while waiting for Jan, I managed to completely pick up my room, fold towels, and…something else, which I don’t remember now but needed to be done.

Sign language was in-theory cancelled, so I exercised my choice to not attend.

Thursday was a good day.

I’m glad you had a good day. I like Hobbby Lobby a lot. I kinda like explicit grunge too if you want to know the truth. RYN: I’m not so sure abou “Shaft” hahahahaha. That cracked me up. Maybe I’ll consider it on second thought.
