Quote of the day

“Objects in the real world are notoriously coherent and stable. It’s extremely difficult to get anything more than a one-to-one relationship between, say, your hand and the $20 bill you’re holding. The bill is in your hand and your hand is holding the bill. If you could make that same bill appear in one or more other locations simultaneously (or vice versa with your hand), you’d be a very rich (or very handy) person. Similarly, if that bill starts to change size, shape, color, or location without any outside force acting on it, then you’re probably asleep and having a very odd dream.”

Ah yes this is true, and an object oriented bill would be quite perfect because it would be generic enough for many hands to hold it. Of course we need a payUp() function, and a taxMeTillIBleed() function wouldn’t hurt. Hmmm and I don’t recall the quote mentioning currency. *OOOO* have you stumbled on the plans for a new world economy and its OO. I think I must be dead and have gone to heaven ;o)

LOL @ U!!!! try http://www.georgetakei.com LOL, actually ROFLOL but that aside, thanks for pointing me there … I love this quote “Scotty is 99 percent me and 1 percent accent.” I think thats just how Scotty came over. Wish I could have known him “off screen” … maybe one day.

Luckily I have a wallet full of “quantum bills”. Their values change depending on when you observe them.

Why can’t I have dreams like that?

Sometimes that stability is just what we need to feel safe in the middle of all the chaos of life.
