Journey: Revel
[from my written travel journal. Be sure to look for two other entries before this one, but after “Address”, to be entered later. This entry was jotted quickly during a general session]
In the Meeting Room of Town Hall; Soularise Conference, 1505 hours PDT
Someone just asked how, where to draw the line between nudging people forward or pulling them toward the post-modern church. Some also asked when comparing the Medival world (Age of Reason), and the Modern world (Age of Science), then what age is the post-modern world?
The answer is that this is an age of Love. Eacho ne of us can find our own faith. Its not up to me to enforce a theology or dogma on other peoples. Its only to point the way to Jesus Christ the person and His Truth, and to do it with Love which more than anything else is the road map for the believer and non-believer alike.
Love DOES No Harm. Love is the key — a love born in the Truth of who Jesus really is. Its not about inviting people to church, its about inviting them to Jesus.
And on the question of lines and momentum — if our actions are causing us suffering, its probably the right course of action. And if we are causing others to suffer, it is probably the wrong thing.
Its been a long time….*sighs* Hugs and Kisses…

then i guess when Christ talked about turning the other cheek, He must have been kidding. i get it, just a joke. to sin with the knowledge that God will forgive you, to ignore the convictions being placed upon your heart by the Spirit, is to spit in the face of our saviour like no other way. and i will continue to stand in opposition. ive been shown my path, now. i will not forsake it.

I have a good feeling deep in my heart that the words you composed here are so very right in God’s eyes. You continue as ever to be well-thought, well-written, and well-missed. You are already acquainted with me… but this is a side of me that you did not know… NOONE knows for that matter. But I needed to express myself in the truest sense. I hope you are well, B… I so hope you are well.

I so love the part about pointing the way to Jesus with love. Jesus IS love, Amen 🙂 I thought about you this weekend, as I climbed Tatoosh ridge.
