Best Weighed Plans

Its the end of the day, and I am waiting on a friend to finish folding tents and come back to IM before I log out.

Its been a pretty fast-paced and eventful week – most of the events themselves are small and intrinsic (WHAT does that mean?!!) but they made my week very colorful. So, I am in a mood…..the mood is the sound of Moby’s Bodyrock. Its edgy and fun. And this is a 3-day weekend.

But, I have a pretty standard rule not to travel on this holiday. “Everybody else does!” so I choose to be different. I also choose to remain safer. So what to do with the weekend? Well, I need to keep cleaning organizing sorting etc around my house. Also, this is a big holiday weekend out at the Land. And since I am being groomed to be on the Board of the land, I suppose I should show my face.

I will probably camp out Saturday to Sunday at the land. I dunno. Maybe not. Or, maybe the next night. Who knows. I have other things to be doing, and only limited time to accomplish them. I need to do Fall Service on my vehicle – flush the radiator, pack the bearings, vacuum, dust, clean the windows. Etc. I want to go visit my Uncle. I haven’t seen them all summer, despite both of us planning the otherwise. I also want to go to his church. Its a nice place, I feel comfortable there. *slow smile* “Kim” is also there…. *g*

I need to fit some more camping, more biking in, wherever I can. My sister wants to go canoeing in Tx one of the weekends later this month. But she hasn’t settled on which one yet, which for my budget, means, at least 3 weeks from today.. or tomorrow, or whenever she tells me. The reason is, in this State, you never know what the weather will be from hour to hour, let alone day to day, so I need to do all these things when I can be reasonably certain the weather is good. What to do…what to do….

What I am deciding now though, is that tonight, I am going to release my bike. I am going to ride across town, ride go-karts, and see a movie! …or some such combination.
