What makes
the yawn of the abyss so attractive
over the paralysis that keeps us
from lifting our hand to touch our neighbor?
Why is it easier to fall without trying
than to try not to fall?
(PS: This is not a cry for help. Only an observation.)

hmmm an interesting view … and correct of course. I think people are happy to “fail” without trying because they can always say “I didn’t try” but to fail when one has given it a shot, well that cuts to the heart of your ego. It may require you to reflect on yourself. It may mean you must admit your weaknesses. That is simply too hard for many people I think ***HUGS***
