thin skins thick skulls & awkward limbs

Procrastination is a terrible thing. I spend hours doing everything but the things I should be doing. If I have an exam tomorrow, I’m doing the homework that’s due next Tuesday. If I have to update my resume because the job fair is tomorrow and I’m graduating in three months (ack!) and I need a job, then I take a nap. If I have to pack to go home because I have a dentist appointment, I’m playing Zelda or The Sims or some other horrible game that sucks me in and bleeds my motivation dry.

I played Zelda for six hours the other day. SIX HOURS. Now I know why my parents would never let me get any video game system.

My newest thing is taking baths. With the cold winter days, my body burns from walking to and from class in the snow. I fill the tub up until it’s burning hot & sitting in the water makes me sweat & when I get out my body is red and raw from the heat of the water. The saddest thing is that I could study or at least accomplish something while I’m in the tub, but I don’t. I prefer to stare at the ceiling, or at the walls and muse how they need cleaning. Hell, I could study while at the gym. Instead I wind up watching the TVs they have there.

And even this beloved diary is taking the hit. I read the Reader’s Choice and random diaries for two hours one day when I’d planned to sit down and update. Dammit.

So now I’m forced to write an entry about my procrastination instead of anything worthwhile. Because honestly, I’m so lame that I don’t do anything but do homework and nap and play video & computer game and take baths.

Wow. This will be a really boring, pointless entry. Sorry about that.

I just watch tv. A lot of tv. Or play neopets. Or, sadly enough, just sleep. I’m behind in almost every class’ homework…my attendance has had major problems…basically I really suck this semester at pretty much everything. *hug*

baths are meant for relaxation.. so why should you do anything besides stare at the ceilings? I love baths, and I like yourself fill the water up to the top, burning hot… my body so red by the time i’m done.. and I too stare, but sometimes sing. mmm procastination is a beautiful thing. xoxo Jezsyka
