the bridge is crossed so stand & watch it burn
Graduation pictures, as promised.
I received my copy of the new Harry Potter book, and I am trying hard not to read the entire thing today. I know it’s going to be awesome, I’ve heard it’s amazing, but once I’ve finished reading it I will have to wait a very long time for the next book. OF course, my self control goes only too far. I tried that with OotP, and the upshot of it all was that it took me two days to read the book instead of one. And I didn’t even really like it.
Once I’ve finished the book, I’ll update again (look, it has been less than a week since my last entry!) with my thoughts. Unless no one cares. And if you don’t care, then leave a message and tell me not to write it.
Until later, then.
I’m not a big Harry Potter fan…but at least you are reading. Most people I know think of reading as punishment…I think they must have been bounced on their heads.

lovely pictures! 🙂 i bought harry potter yesterday, but immediately put it in the bottom of my suitcase so i won’t read it until i get to the beach on tuesday. ryn// the first thing i said to the boy when he walked in was, “why a pink shirt?” to which he replied, “i hope you like it. i’ve added about six to my wardrobe.” i’m still debating…

I was at Border’s Saturday night right before it was released. I was killing time before a movie, and that was the only thing open at 11:30 at night. Crazy..I’ve never seen so many people go crazy like that..all dressed up in costume and everything. Out of control! And I care..keep writing. Congrats on the job, by the way. Write when you can. 🙂 xoxox Jessie

i’ve already read it all…i couldn’t help it. but, like all the others, i’ll read it over and over again because i like to pick up new things every time i read a book. *smile* i’d love to hear your thoughts…and actually have someone to discuss it with…other than my boyfriend who is so busy reading religious texts that he’s not planning any recreational reading for the next six years.

I got mine at midnight. Crazysilly people lined up everywhere. The parking lots of both barnes and noble and borders packed with cars. I am trying to stretch the book out though. Savor every last word so as not to finish it too fast. I don’t want to get unlost from that world.

RYN: Well the literacy rate down this way is maybe 40%…and that would be generous. It’s disturbing how many people would rather sit in front of a screen then read a book.
