Spectrum and Perspective

On water faucets, be it bathroom, kitchen, whatever,… there is the potential for water that is hot, cold, or any temperature in between.  For a person with normal body temperature, this holds true.  For others, with similar body temperatures, this holds true as well.  But if you’ve been outside in the snow and you come in with freezing cold hands, you can turn the cold water on and stick your hands under it and it is not cold.  Not at all.  For ice cold hands, it’s actually hot and burns.

It is the same with perspective.  Spectrums vary from person to person.  There are "norms," but there are also those that stand outside the norm.  My example can obviously be boiled down to simple physics and I’m sure someone will have something to say about how accurate the application is to people and their perceptions, but whatever.  I just think it’s important to recognize that there is not one, true reality.  This is why it is important not to judge people.  Not because of Christianity or whatever religion dictates that you shouldn’t, but because…You. Don’t. Know.

Now, I’m not saying that some actions cannot be judged.  We are judgmental by nature and certain actions implicate certain things.  But when it comes to perspectives and feelings in particular, don’t judge.

Takes some people a lifetime to figure this out, seems most people *never* do though… (and then they *BREED*…)

Yeap. There is no such thing as Objective Reality. Just Subjective.
