I’m cutting today’s entry a bit fine.. it’s 11pm!
I’ve had a few drinks. I hope I can hold it together long enough to write down todays thoughts.
Last night I had sex. Wonderful wonderful sex.
Today I filled my morning with a few hours in The Range looking at homeware I don’t need.
Did a few chores round the flat.
4pm I had roller derby parctise.
I got retested on my hip checks and failed again. I really don’t know what I’m doing wrong but I either don’t make any contact or my contact is rather pathetic. I need to be more aggressive- and grow a bigger bum!
The rest of practsie was pretty awesome. Not sure I’m going to be able to walk properly tomorrow.
Chicken pie and cauliflower cheese for supper.
Then drinks at the pub at 8:30.
I stayed until about 10:30 and then walked home.
I was just sitting there.. not contributing much to the general conversation. Socially awkward as ever.
My ability to chitchat seems to be diminishing the older I get
I stopped by the river on my walk home and just watched the water.
The light reflections always make to think of my night photography project I did at college and standing out there for hours waiting for ridiculous exposure times.
Beautiful.
Todays questions?
Writing an entry from Elroy’s perspective would be pretty boring:
I sleep a lot.
I beg for food I don’t like and refuse to eat.
I play with my mouse toy.
I have a mental 5 minutes every day where I tear around the flat at break neck speed and attack inanimate objects and claw the furniture.
I poop.
I sleep some more.
My highlight of the week?
Probably the fantastic sex I had last night.
Roller derby practise today (despite failing my last skill)
And spending time with my folks yesterday.
oh and a few nights ago, sleeping with the window open and the curtains slightly parted.
when I was a student was the only time I’ve ever lived in a house where my bed was pushed against the wall.
This wall also happened to be the wall with my window in it.
I used to love lying in bed at night in the winter with my window wide open… all snug under my duvet and the cold on my face and the fresh in my lungs. It used to help me clear my head.
My favourite was when I was raining a little outside and I could feel the rain misting on my cheeks.
Ben always closes the window in the bedroom in the winter, you know like normal people.
I asked him if we could keep it open the other night and he agreed.
It made me happy.
I am happy.
So happy.

I thought I was the only crazy one who liked to open the window in the winter and snuggle into the covers. Thank you for making feel a bit more normal
