I packed today!
Packed to go to Canada!
Yaaaaaay!

I went to the shop this morning to buy some things I needed.
I also had my hair cut.
I really resent paying £18 just to have the ends of my hair trimmed. It took her no more than 5 minutes.
Also went to the library to print off my flight and hostel confirmations.
Our printer has been out of ink for a year now, we may as well not even have one.

The flat is spotless and I’m all packed and ready to go.
I’ve also shaved, exfoliated, conditioned and moisterised all the parts of me that needed those things doing.
I also did my nails.
I’m all clean and lovely.
Sex would be perfect tonight if I wasn’t so tired and didn’t have to get up early for my flight and didn’t have a cold right now.

Yes, I woke up with a cold this morning. Great timing.

Questions!

2. What are the major items on your bucket list? What things do you want to accomplish before you die?

I think the top of the list is Travel.
But we all knew that already. It seems to be all I think about.
There’s a whole lot of world out there. One day I’ll see it.

Kids? Are children a bucket list item? hhmm, now there’s a thought.
I’d like to have kids. I’m aiming for about 31 when I have my first though.

At the moment, paying off my debt is a big one. So I guess be debt free would be an item.

See the redwood forest.

Possibly get a degree.
I’m 100% sure I’m capable of getting one if I wanted one.
But that’s the reason I’m 27 and without a degree- I don’t want one
Not until I’ve figured out what it is I want to do with myself.
There’s really no point in spending all that time and money to get a degree I can’t use or don’t want to use.
Maybe one day.

3. How are you similar or different from the person you were 5 years ago? 10 years ago? 20 years ago?

I don’t think I’ve changed much in the last 5 years.
5 years ago I had a lot more piercings than I do now.
I had 13 back then. Now I’m down to just 7.
I was dating a girl 5 years ago. Now I’m dating a boy.
I have more friends now than I did 5 years ago.
And I think I’m generally happier now, I was quite moody in my early 20s.

10 years ago I was 17.
I was still a virgin then. What a thought haha.
My 17th year was actually one of my favourites.
My 3 best friends from school and I were inseparable.
That spring break in September we spent a whole 10 days together.
We spent hours in the mall, hours getting drunk in Charlotte’s jacuzzi, went swimming, laughing, learning.
That was also the first time we tried weed. We did everything together and thinking back on it, it was the simplest and happiest of times.
We also went to lots of house parties when we should have been on study breaks.
There should be a remarkable difference between a 17 year old and a 27 year old, but truth be told I still feel like the same little girl.
When I went home in January Chez told me I’m still exactly the same as I was when we left school, Briggs said I even dress the same.

20 years ago I was 7.
I had my favourite ever teacher that year.
I don’t really remember much from when I was 7. I guess I have nothing significant to report.
