NoJoMo 21

What a wonderful wonderful day I’ve had.
I woke up at about 10:30 and had cuddles in bed with Ben and Elroy for about half an hour while listening to the radio.
Ben eventually decided to get up but I wasn’t quite ready to face the world. So I stayed in bed.
I ended up staying in bed all afternoon.
I watched 2 dvds and spent the whole day under the duvet wearing nothing more than my undies and a wifebeater.
Ben came into the bedroom every half hour gave me kisses and brought me a sandwich and coffee.
Eventually I got up at about 4, dragged the duvet to the lounge and then sat on the couch with Ben and Elroy and watched yet another movie.
At about 7 we went out for Indian. I had pumpkin and black-eyed bean curry and it was delicious!
We almost always go dutch when we eat out but Ben paid for the whole meal and said it was to celebrate me becoming an official roller girl.
We’re home now. There’s a chocolate trifle in the fridge and a brand new box of condoms in the bedroom 😀

On a less positive note, my knee is utterly screwed.
I’ve pulled something on the inside of my right knee and it hurts like a bitch.
I won’t be back on skates until it’s properly healed. I’m trying to rest it as much as I can right now.

My day today pretty much sums it up I think.

1. I think I’m quite a loyal friend. I’ve had so many friends who seem to fall of the face of the earth once they get a serious boyfriend or girlfriend and I always promised myself I’d never be one of those people. I think I do a good job of making time for my friends and I’m a good friend as long as you’re a good friend back. 

3. What are your favorite holiday foods (for any holidays)?

It’s got to be easter egg chocolate and quality street, even though I’m not at all excited by the thought of Easter or Christmas.
