NoJoMo 13

I went to bed a bit drunk last night, ha. I was so tired I already felt drunk and then after a few drinks and some big bang theory with Ben I was just about ready to die.
Woke up at 8 this morning though, which was a bit annoying.
I blame Elroy- meowing like he was stuck in a box or something.

I’ve been at roller derby all day.
We got there at 3 for a strategy class. 
We learnt the Default strategy. It was a bit of a mind fuck, we spent a full hour discussing it.
Then we spent half an hour doing off skate fitness.
While running around the track I thought "this is not what I signed up for".
I really hate running, it’s boring, hence why I took up a sport involving roller skates.
Then we had a full 2 hour session putting the default strategy into practise, and it was fucking amazing.
Got to shout things like "I’ve got a goat" and "get a squid, get a squid" and "wall up".
And I came home feeling pretty pleased with myself. 
It’s the first time I’ve scrimmaged where my mind wasn’t going "aaaaaaahhhhhhhh fuuuuuuckkk what’s going ooooonnnn" because I had a strategy to follow and a job to do.
It was rad.

That’s pretty much been my whole day. oh oh also watched Friday night’s Derren Brown show and it was as interesting as ever.

And this morning I made stew in the slow cooker and it’s been cooking all day.
Came home from 4 hours of roller derby and had 2 massive bowls.. and it was delicious! 

Pudding soon! mmmm.

I’m in such a good mood. Lalalalaaa.

Today’s Questions:

1. When you were a child, what were the things you wished grown-ups remembered about being a child? What things did you wish they did differently from a child’s perspective?

I don’t think I can remember thinking anything like that.
I do remember when I was little and we went up Table Mountain a few times and my mom would always say "take a jacket, it will be cold up there!" and I’d always think "cold? Surely it’s warmer on top of a mountain because you’re closer to the sun"

3. Write about your first kiss, or your most memorable kiss. 

My first kiss with a boy I was 16. I met him while I was on a family holiday and we had a little summer fling in the resort I was staying in.
I guess to a lot of people 16 is pretty late for a first kiss, but I went to an all girls school and had absolutely no interest in boys until about that age.

My first kiss with a girl was when I was about 18. She was my best friend Andi. We were in a club and rather drunk. We ended up making out in a toilet cubical.

I have lots of memorable kisses.
The most memorable (for all the wrong reasons) was the kiss I had with Haley after the worst date ever, where she practically raped my face and I cried about the whole ordeal on my drive home.

My first kiss with Ben was pretty cute. It was after our third date and he walked me to my car and kissed me in the street in the dark at about 2am. wow, that was such a long time ago. Now I get kisses every day 😀
