I’d burn this city down to show you the light

It’s early days, but it looks like my brother’s girlfriend is pregnant!
I’m going to be Aunty Edi!
My mom is especially thrilled to finally have a grandbaby.
It’s very early but fingers crossed everything goes alright.

I met Mia for lunch today. It was nice to have a chat and a catch up.
She’s such a wise soul.
I also got to try Mission Burrito, which was awesome and I’ll definitely be going back.

After lunch I went shopping!
I bought this adorable tea light lantern.

It was £5, but there was one in the clearance bit where the bird had broken off and it had been reduced to £3. So I bought that one and super-glued the bird back on when I got home. Hey presto, good as new. I love it 🙂

Ben and I were planning on going to Portugal in September, but his request for leave from work had been denied so it doesn’t look like we can go. And now I have 4 days off work I don’t know what to do with.
However, I have 5 days off work over my birthday in January and it happens to fall over Ben;s 4 days off on his shift pattern so hopefully we’ll be able to go then!
It won’t be summer anymore, but I’ll be in Portugal for my birthday, that’ll be nice.

I have leave from work this weekend actually.
I’m going to visit Niks in Hastings and we’re going to Eastbourne Extreme, which is a free extreme sports festival.

We had Grievous Bodily Charm from Team England and LRG come and guest coach us on Sunday. She’s pretty fucking awesome and really lovely. I don’t feel like I learnt all that much but I certainly had lots of fun.
Also had some family time on sunday. Mom made the most delicious roast beef.

Watched 21 Jump street the other day. Watch it!.. it’ll make you laugh.

Last Friday, a girl I work with was on Million Pound Drop! Not only did she get to play the game with Harry from McFly, but she won £25 000!
Doubt she’ll be coming back to work. ha.

I was sure I had more to say. hhmm.
