brain blisters

I did something incredibly stupid yesterday.
I was warming a pie in a glass pyrex dish.
I took the pie out the oven to discover it was still cold in the middle.
I decided it needed 5 more minutes in the oven….  and then…. I completely absent-mindedly picked up the pyrex dish (which had just come out of a 200°C oven) with my bare hand.

Queue: screaming.

Everytime I stopped running it under cold water it started burning like a bitch.
Eventually I couldn’t take it anymore and drove to the midnight pharmacy to get some burns gel.
It worked a treat. And it smelled nice, like plants.
Now I have a mother of a blister on my right ring finger.
blah.

where is my brain?
