the girl is free.

the girl is free.

she crawls out from under the bed,
and her mind oozes darkness-
but she is free.

she twirls in the rain,
and her hair hangs in strings across her face.
when she kisses, she is reminded
of a flower blooming.
and she is free.

she thinks of life as one long series of spontaneous combustions.
she flies away
when she is awake.
and when she is asleep, she is free.

she harbors inhibitions
deep in her stomach.
she watches the world go by through window panes
because she is afraid to touch it.
but even when she feels like she isn’t, she is free.

she touches his cheek.
she rubs his back.
she listens to his voice.
he makes her a prisoner, but she feels like she is free.

the girl could be me…

and

the girl

is

free!

*smiles* fly away from here, sweet darling.

as long as i can still recognize you, i guess i wont mind 🙂 i havent changed my name on here, but i change the diary title everytime i do the background. i cant even remember them all. i know i had “a grey sunset” when i started it… sad times. spring. blah. i had a white one, but i dont remember the title. anyhow… yeah, i change the titles and backgrounds for moods and changes in my life…

right now, the mood is sad and lethargic. i knew spring would be crappy, and it hasnt let me down yet. small chance it could improve, but not that big of one.

This is incredibly impressive, but what really floored me was the Kenneth Caroll quote on your front page. Thank god there is some talent left in the youth. ♥
