its an allornothing, takeorleaveme, thunder-rumble question.  deep inside, longing and hurting for a brighter morning beyond the pane.  not a rolloffyourshoulders, puthatinyourpipeandsmokeit question.  harder, rougher and maybe slipperier than that.  the ‘do you love me?’ hangs, mostly, unspoken.
