Yesterday some old timer from Jackson Michigan offered me a trade for my Honda GL1100.

that is what he wants to trade me.

He told me all about how we heard it start knocking on the highway and then immediately put it away for the winter not willing to put any more money into it.

I hate engine knocks…..

could be anything!!!!!!

needless to say I would have to tear down the engine to find out…which isn’t all that bad…kinda fun..but mostly a pain in the ass and time consuming.

I could do all that and find out the thing is completely fucked and I have to get a new engine….

but I doubt it because he says it still runs…

on the bright side Harley’s have a lot more pre fab customization options out there….

and its a Harley….

after putting the work in it would be worth about double what the goldwing is….

I am leaning toward the side of trading……..
