No Net! I feel cut off from the world!
I’ve had net problems since last Wednesday and being Easter and public holidays on Friday and Monday, I’ve no idea when my replacement USB connection will arrive.
I can get on for minutes at a time if I’m lucky, then my connection goes. So I may be lucky to get this entry done.
Easter is over and that’s my busiest time of the year done. I was glad Friday was a public holiday as I needed the day to recover from Thursday’s onslaught. So many people at the supermarket, most of them holidaymakers and being school holidays there were so many children about too.
Friday was a lovely day and I’m sure the campers appreciated the good weather. But Saturday it was cold and windy. Today and yesterday it’s been really cold, and there has to be snow falling somewhere. But next week it should be a bit warmer.
I hope it is warmer because I’m off to Melbourne on Saturday, visiting my 2 brothers, and any family I can squeeze in during the few days I’ll be there.
I have to meet Evan too as I have his birthday present. He was 24 on Good Friday. Melissa ordered him a guitar case which I have to pick up before meeting him, but it hasn’t arrived into the shop yet. I hope it gets there before I arrive in Melbourne.
I’m going to my SIL Dorothy’s house to see how my brother Ian is doing. My other brother Drew is coming with me, and maybe Evan too. I just want to see how Ian’s doing, as the last I heard they were going to take his driver’s licence away. He’s on some medication to slow the dementia but of course it won’t stop it. He’s only 3 years older than me. All caused by alcohol. No wonder I don’t drink after seeing the problems it caused in my family. Evan doesn’t drink either.
Then when I get back on Monday, I have to pack for our trip to Sydney for 2 days with Melissa. We’re looking forward to that. I don’t know what we’ll do there as it depends on the weather, but Melissa has 2 days off work, so we’ll be together doing something.
We got a Wii console a few weeks ago and also Wii Fit Plus & balance board. We’ve had so much fun with it. Trying out the balance exercises was really hard. Today we tried the snowboard one and I took a video of M because Evan and Melissa want to see it. He took one of me too, but I haven’t looked at them yet. I can imagine how we both look.
With a bit of luck, I can post this entry!
Bye………..
Hope you get your connection sorted soon, and have a good time in Melbourne!

Watch out that they don’t post it to YouTube! LOL! Have a wonderful holiday, my friend. I hope your brother is cognizant for your visit. It was hard to watch Mom become more and more apathetic. RYN: It seems to have permeated our world, but I intend to push back. 🙂

RYN: kids! When they’re little, they step on your toes and when they’re big, the step on your pride! LOL!
