My net is sloooooow.

I thought the days of my net being slowed because my kids had downloaded too much music were over. But no, I now have a husband with an iPad who loves watching YouTube videos online. And he has used all our allowance. My net has slowed to a crawl. Something I didn’t anticipate, as I had moved to a different plan with more gigs. Ah well, roll on the 1st of the month when we start afresh. I’ll have to monitor our usage though.
Spring is here at last, bringing some beautiful weather, although it’s still cold at night. We had a frost this morning but the day was lovely.
I hope the good weather keeps up until we go to Melbourne Thursday of next week. I hate driving down there in the rain.
Melissa is staying with Evan and they will meet us for a meal on Thurs evening. Then we spend Friday with both of them up until late afternoon. After that husband and I are off to the Rome Exhibition in Melbourne. And we are going to see the stage production of South Pacific Saturday afternoon. Then the Mesapotamia Exhibit Sunday. It’s going to be a great weekend, especially as it’s our 40th anniversary.
Went shopping yesterday for a few clothes and ended up getting a nice polka dotted skirt in a size 14. WOW can’t believe it fits me. I’m still not too fond of the calf length skirts so I may hike it up a bit. But it looks ok the way it is. It’s great to buy clothes off the peg instead of looking for larger sizes. I was quite happy to get down to a size 16, but when it was too big for me, I was amazed. A nice surprise.
I can’t believe it’s nearly October. There are Christmas goodies in the supermarket.
The rest of the year will fly past as we have 2 weekends away and a trip to New Zealand planned in the next few months.
After that we have to plan our trip to Poland and Scotland. Husband also wants to go back to Rome again, as he was really ill when we were there in 2008, and didn’t enjoy what sightseeing we managed to do. Not even going to think about that though for a while.
