More of the same.
Our first day in Washington and the weather was lovely. There was an Asian festival going on and the streets were closed off, so we just meandered through the stalls.
On Athabasca Glacier in Jasper National Park.
Melissa and me at the Falls again. Wet would not describe the state I was in.
Father and daughter having wee drinkies on the Zambezi River cruise. We saw hippos on this cruise and some went right under the boat banging their heads all the way under. I can’t find so many of my photos so Melissa must have them as I was using her camera sometimes.
Carcross Desert, which is in the Yukon and is the world’s smallest desert.

Bow River, Banff. It was lovely sitting there but I got heaps of mosquito bites.
Athabasca Falls.
Banff.
On the Rocky Mountaineer to Kamloops.
Cheeky squirrel in Washington. So many of them all around and I couldn’t resist taking this shot.
This mother duck had so many ducklings to look after. Everyone was waiting to see if they all could get back on the edge of the pool.
Well that’s about it for now as I seem to have lost photos on my computer somewhere. We did a walk with 2 lion cubs and I took photos with them. We also visited an African village which has been inhabited for 700 years, and was where David Livingstone met their chief. I took photos there and also of the tree where David Livingstone stood.
As I’m trying to concentrate on this entry, husband is screaming at the football on TV. Last game of the season for us if our team doesn’t win this week.
That looks like a wonderful waterfall. Wasn’t part of this trip a surprise for hubby or do I misremember?

Lovely pictures again. It looks weird having a desert right in front of snowy mountains!
