Last entry before Christmas.
I thought I would take the chance to do an entry this morning as I won’t have time before we leave on Friday morning. Melissa flies in to Melbourne airport Saturday 9am. Hopefully she’ll get through customs super fast (doubt it though) and we can set off reasonably early for Warrnambool. Evan is meeting us at the motel when he finishes work late Friday evening. I’ll have to go and pick him up as the tram only comes part way to the airport. I’m looking forward to our few days break beside the sea.
My follow-up doctor’s visit was on Wednesday and she was pleased with my blood pressure reading. I can only remember the first part of the reading which was 120. Last month it was 160. The pills are working but I hope I’m not on them forever. Losing more weight will maybe help.
This year has gone terribly fast, or maybe it’s just as we get older it goes faster! Wish it would slow down a bit.
Husband will officially be a senior citizen from next week, when he starts receiving the aged pension. I reminded him that on his birthday on the 29th, he’ll be nearer to 70 than 60! Just as well he can take a joke.
I found out today while speaking to my 2 neighbours that we are all going to be away for Christmas. So I need to let the police know the 3 houses will be vacant until at least next Tuesday. Not too keen on all of us being away at once but can’t be helped.
Today will be frantic at work. All the locals will be in shopping before the holidaymakers get into town. We only have 2 smaller supermarkets which are enough for our population normally, but at Christmas and Easter, you can’t move in the aisles. I’m not looking forward to it.
I’ll probably be worn out by the end of the day so everything for our trip is packed. I didn’t fancy coming home late this afternoon to start doing it.
Well I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas. Stay safe on the roads if you are travelling.
Merry Christmas!!!
Safe travels to you, as well! Great news on the BP reading. You should be so proud of yourself! RYN: Yes. The upbraiding I got from the last client really laid me low. Thanks.

Have a wonderful holiday. Do you know anyone who can maybe park their car in your driveway? Have automatic lights?
