Doctors & travelling family.

Had an interesting few days in Melbourne. Husband had his procedure, which involved an injection of a small amount of anaesthetic in his lower back. Then for 5 hours at certain times, he had to do things which normally would have hurt his back and report on the pain from 0 to 5. He was fine for the first few and actually recorded a couple of zeros, but when the anaesthetic wore off he was in pain. I think though it was from the injection. Anyway he filled out the form and we emailed it to the clinic and are just waiting to hear from them. He showed a copy to the physio who said it looked like the procedure worked. That would be great. We both thought it was inconclusive but if it worked then he can have the full treatment. Just have to wait and see when they contact him.
We managed to fit in a quick visit to Evan on our way home. He was looking fine and I got him to play his guitar and sing for us. He never would sing in the house for us so I was surprised when he sang about 6 songs. He likes the 60s stuff and he did The Shirelles song Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow, my all time favourite. He sounded really good and his guitar work was impressive, although he’s still learning.
He had grown a moustache (ginger coloured) and was planning on shaving it off for Movember, which raises awareness of mens’ health issues. He asked me to help him pick a dye as he wanted it black. I did assure him dark brown would be dark enough but he wanted black. So we bought it and I told him I wanted a photo when he had done it. Still waiting though, as he messaged me to say he looked really silly as it was too dark. He has to wait until the end of the month before he shaves it off though.
Melissa is off to India for 4 weeks. I think she flies out on the 22nd. Then she returns the morning of Christmas Eve. Luka’s not going as he wants to go snowboarding in Japan at Christmas. They’ve certainly both got itchy feet.
We’re trying to sell our 2nd car as we don’t really need it now. Not a good time of year to be selling anything but we’ve had a couple of enquiries. I just hope it goes soon.
I can’t believe it’s only just over 5 weeks until Christmas. Another year has just flown past. I wish I could speak to someone to ask if they could slow it down a bit.lol

Bye……….

Please don’t remind me of Christmas! I’m not ready! LOL! RYN: Sandusky is a college sports coach who sexually abused at least 10 boys (there are probably more victims).

RYN: Sorry to leave you in the dark. I thought I was the last person to know what “WYSIWYG” meant! LOL!

Yes, time seems to go faster and faster as you get older! Melissa certainly likes travelling! What part of India is she visiting?

My friend lost 100 pounds on weight watchers. I told her to save ALL her points for tonight’s dessert. She LOVED the eclair. 🙂

RYN: She said she saved up 12 points and thinks she used them all on that dessert. 🙂
