see? (pictures)

here are some things i’ve seen:

prayer flags and crosses inhabiting the same space:

This is the Lama or Rimpoche. He smiled at me as I took the picture, and bowed and thanked me after the flash went off.

My 2nd cousin in the breakfast nook at my aunt’s house.

A neat building in down town San Antonio.

Downtown

This was the never ending hallway i had to walk down to get to the bathroom in this mega-fancy enormous mall. There was piped in elevator music and it felt like a scary movie.

Ladies! If you spend $15 extra dollars on your rubber gloves at Williams Sonomoa, you’ll feel better about cleaning your kitchen while your hubby-poo brings home the bacon so you can come back to Williams Sonoma and buy tablecloths and Conversation Piece steak knives.

Wow, neat.

I love the cross + prayer flags, and LOVE the one of you with your back to the camera and the two rainbow squares. Beautiful.

Oh man. This makes me miss Texas so bad. San Antonio isn’t the coolest place ever, but it’s nice. Are you going to Austin at all?

ryn- Ooh! I’m so jealous. If you get a chance, Pete’s Dueling Piano Bar on 6th street is pretty much my favorite thing ever. It’s not like a typical bar at all. Just a very very fun place. Other than that, the whole downtown area is pretty cool. Tons and tons of live music of every kind and lots of good people watching. I hope you have a great time.
