More often than not, when a situation involving school officials is called into question, I try to see the side of the school. Having been part of the education system, I have seen things taken out of context to make the school or the teacher/official look bad.
THIS IS NOT ONE OF THOSE CASES! THERE IS NO CONTEXT THAT COULD MAKE THIS ACCEPTABLE!
This officer is now off on PAID administrative leave!
He should then be ARRESTED immediately for felony assault of a child.
This child is 11 years old.
This not only violates policy, it violates the law.

You are right that so often it is important to try to remember both sides of the story – but in this case, there is just absolutely no other side to this story. Someone who would do that should not be working with children, and I can’t believe he hasn’t already been fired and arrested!

I saw this on our news and it’s horrible how these schools can get away with such abuse….But the one thing that does scare me is when a school official “accidentally” shoots a student for a really stupid reason. Canadian schools are getting pretty bad too…It seems like school is not the safe place it use o be.
@jaythesmartone I’ve never heard of a school official “accidentally shooting” a student!
