As the backspace key eats my words

The only bad thing about these headphones is that, after a while, they start to hurt my head because of the way they are constructed. The quality of sound, however, more than makes up for it.

It’s starting to get colder here. Most mornings, my breath frosts the air in front of me in translucent plumes that are fascinating to watch as they fade. I have to clutch my arms to my body to help stay warm. I have a down coat hanging out in the back of my car, but I haven’t yet felt cold’s bite severely enough to make myself retrieve it. Some day soon, though, I’m sure I will.

I spent most of yesterday reading Glass by Ellen Hopkins. It’s a sequel to Crank, both of which are thoroughly thought-provoking and, in a word, depressing. Both are more than worth the read. Both found me teary-eyed (or more than) after turning the last page.

A sleek new 500 gb external hard drive has further ignited my desire to write and explore the creative regions of my brain that have gone untouched for too long. I’ve also purchased a Canon Rebel XTi through Amazon.com, and that is due to arrive tomorrow. My hands are itching to caress it, my brain is itching to utilize it’s whistles and bells. It’s going to be a beautiful thing. I can’t -wait- to get back into photography. Damn. I’m drooling just thinking about it.

Not much else to say right now…not that would be of interest to the "general public" who chooses to read this drivel. So I think I’ll sign out and maybe head down to the 24 hr gas station for some munchies to snack on while I read another chapter or so of Jim Butcher’s Academ’s Fury.
