Wedding Stuff 3 And an UPDATE!!

Well hello everyone is my Open Diary [6.0] family. This is first I’ve logged on since they switched to the new version. I completely forgot about it until I came to the site. My bad. ANYWAYS….

I GOT MY DRESS!! I can’t get the picture to save so I’ll post the link to see it and you can check it out. My Dress I got it at David’s Bridal. I also got my veil. It is a Chapel Length Veil with Pencil Edge. We’re talking 90 inches of veil. Woo. I also met with Hallana. She is the one that is doing my flower, centerpieces, cake and what have you. We decided on a 3 tier, 2 layer cake. [I also changed out colors again. Now it’s black and pearl pink. Why black, to me it symbolizes the death of 2 single lives and pearl pink as a new life as husband and wife. I know I’m corny.] She going to be making my cake topper. Also ‘blinged’ out with my initial [A] and his initial [P] behind our last name initial [K]. Picked my flowers stuff. My bouquet will have 4 different color carnations, roses, calla lily’s and it will be draping down to form into a heart shape. I also changed the location again. I know go figure. We have now chosen to do it out of a church and have the reception and wedding all at the same place. I do have pictures of the place. It’s going to be at the Lakeville Fire Department Training Grounds.

We are going to be renting 3/4 of the hall for a whooping $575. [There is a caterer that goes with grounds and if we went with her it would only cost up $500 for the hall, but also add on $1,500 dollars. I don’t think so!! We’ll make our own food.] On the down side, my Matron of Honor is about to lose her position. She hasn’t been there for none of the stuff. The only thing that she was there for was my dressing fitting and she didn’t really give me any advice. I got it all from my mom. So as it looks, my mom is more a less going to be my Matron of Honor. But, that’s all I have you guys on the wedding front.

An update on myself and Riley. Riley is doing well. She has adjusted to the cast, but damn that thing went from white to eck in 20 seconds. Such a mess. She gets it off the 6th. [Thank god.] Putting a plastic back over her arm twice a day to shower is a pain in the ass. Plus she isn’t getting much lotion there and her thumb has gotten dry where it rubs on the cast and has a slight cut on it. Me however, they wanted to take me out until I see the doctor again…which isn’t until the 6th as well. I told them I was going to try work first and if I can’t do it I’ll let them know. Yesterday at work was alright, but today was a bitch. I can’t work with the brace on and I can’t work with it off. My co-workers even seen how I was swollen. The pain comes and goes. It doesn’t hurt to touch but hurts to move. Hurts to bend my wrist and sometime my fingers. The pain sometime travels all the way up to my elbow and comes in varying degrees. There is talk that when I go to the doctor on the 6th that they might be doing cordizone shots. Yay? Owen and Riley also have to go to the doctor with me on the 6th. They both had [have?] an ear infection. So that day is going to be jammed. The kids and I have to be at the doctors at 8:15am and then Riley has to go to the Ortho. at 11:20. Plus on top of that, on the 3rd I get to go to WIC. Woo I’m excited. [ugh]

Well I had every intention of showing you guys the pictures I finally got back but photobucket is being stupid and won’t upload my pictures. You’ll have to go to my myspace page and add me if you want to see them. [LINK IS ON MY FRONT PAGE!!!] When you do you’ll get to view all my pictures of course, but the new ones are from Christmas, randomness at our house, and there 1st birthday party at my dads. Sorry guys!! I’ll try and figure it out.

Anyways, I think that’s it for the time being. I’m just really tired, my hand hurts, and I’m stressing about the wedding. IT’S 5 MONTHS TO THE DAY UNTIL I GET MARRIED!!!!!!!!! [Oh yeah, I had to get my engagement ring re-sized seeing after having the twins my hands stayed fat so my ring didn’t fit. I got it back last weekend. WOO HOO!!]
