We still have no idea.
So yeah, my title explains it all. We still don’t know if we have been approved for Brookside. It is getting EXTREMELY frustrating. I handed in my application for the place BEFORE we left our last apartment. 2 months ago….
Anyways, we went and seen our apartment today. It’s BEAUTIFUL!! We have our own private entrance, a door bell [I’m excited], and you know in school how they have the strobe light for the fire alarm? We have one of them. Brand new appliances…the fridge has an ice maker. Double sink…with sprayer, dish washer, electric stove. Where the table goes, it’s no carpet. I was so worried about that. I was thinking of where to get something to go under the table so the carpet wasn’t getting ruined but, problem solved. All open so I can see. Nice size living room with the sliding glass door. Right off the living room is a door, and it’ll be the kids room. Next the kids room is a set of double doors and that’ll be where the washer and dryer goes. [I’m so excited about being able to have my own washer and dryer. Next to that is the bathroom. I LOVE IT!! It has room to move and more than 1 person can be in there at a time. They at the end of the hall is mine an Pats room with a walk in closet!! Woo! All the rooms have cable and it’s only 35 dollars to have it. We don’t have to go through the cable company so no need to call them until I need them to turn the phone and internet back on. There is also a fitness center. Where will Manda be in the morning after the kids go down for a nap? WORKING OUT BABY!! I’m all excited, and I’ll be PISSED if I can’t have it.
After all that fun we went to Rent-A-Center. Found a matching washer and dryer we like, and a new furniture set [thanks to the kids for wrecking the one we have =)], a new tv/surround sound system and a new kitchen table. The moment we can move in, we’ll be over there to get our new stuff.
Went to a new doctor on Monday for my hand/wrist. Carpal tunnel is now being part of the problem. I also got new prescriptions for all my drugs [Tylenol #3, Vicodain, and 800mg Ibuprofen]. I went and filled all of them yesterday…plus my Citalopram, Wellbutrin, and Ambien. Seeing I have no insurance I had to pay $92.56 for all of my meds. I guess it could have been worse? On top of all my drugs, they also want me to get an electrode test on my wrist to see about the carpal tunnel. On the 16th of this month I also get to go and see the Comp. doctor to see what they think. Then on the 25 I have to go back to the doctor I seen on Monday. I wish people would get there head out of there asses and lets get this shit rolling. I’m broke as ever and I have from February to now [I believe] to get reimbursed for.
Had to go and ‘save’ my mom yesterday. She was down to my dad’s to go watch my brother graduate from Culinary at BOCES and her truck died. [She has a Trailblazer.] So I had to go all the way over to where Pat works to get the truck and bring her home. God only knows what’s wrong with her truck. I got to get her tonight at midnight from work and then I have to take her to her Mammo tomorrow. Pat also has to go back to the eye doctor to evaluate on how his contacts are doing. They’re going to have to give him a different one for his left eye. He can’t really see out of it….
Well I think that’s it for now. I’m gonna go hop in the shower. Until next time…toodles.
♥ Amanda
