The New Van

Good evening [good morning] everyone. How are we all tonight? Me…I’m drop dead tired. WE FINALLY GOT OUR NEW VAN!! The isolation is over. I just wanted to stop in and post the pictures of it. They were taken by the dealer…

There she is…2004 Dodge Caravan. She was priced at $7,995. We talked the dealer down to $7,200.

The front. I think the bug deflector gives it a spiffy look. The ones that I’ve seen while we’ve been out, I haven’t seen one yet with one…other than ours.

The side. It’s a ‘sports’ model. Don’t know if that means anything to anyone…but just thought I’d throw it in there. Oh, and dual doors…thank god!! It makes things SO MUCH EASIER!!

The back. When go and pay the dealer the rest of the money we owe, we have to have them re-adjust the back windshield wiper and [or] replace the blade. Whatever makes it so the wiper is touching the glass.

Inside. That is where the twins sit. The third row is a bench.

What I see.

Closer look at the “entertainment” stuff. The CD player works, which makes me SO happy. The one in the Envoy didn’t work. Plus, the heat is fantastic. Only take 3 minutes…I swear…and you’re sweating.

The mileage. When we took it for the test drive it finally hit 69,000. Not bad for a 6 year old van.

Lastly, the wheel.

I am in love with this van. I am MUCH happier about it than the truck. Plus I’m super happy about the fact that we were able to buy it out right and not have to deal with a bank calling if a payment is late…oh wait. There are no payments!! YAY!!

I’ll update with more soon. I just wanted to get this up here. I’m exhausted. I forgot what it’s like to lug around 2 almost 3 year olds all day in a vehicle.
