Hey there everyone!! I just wanted to say THANK YOU for all the notes. When I logged on today and checked my notes and I was blown away. Thank you thank you thank you!!

Hmm, what’s new? Thanksgiving was pretty good. It was the first one away from my family. A little strange yes, but Patricks family is my soon to be family too so why not. We had a great time. I met his [mormon] Grandfather who is such a sweet man. On the way down to Olean, I got this whole big talk from Pat and his mom that he’s strick and old fashion, blah blah blah. I got there and he walked over to me and gave me a big hug and said “welcome to the family.” I just about cried with that one. We were a little nervous on telling him I’m pregnant seeing he’s a strick mormon, but we told him anyways. He took it rather well. All he had to say to Pat was “didn’t the church teach you anything?” After that he came up to me again, gave me a hug, and congratulated me. Such a sweet man. [That was Pat’s mom’s dad.] Pat and I left for awhile, while Ellen stayed at her dad’s and we went and seen his friend Richard. He’s in the military and home for leave. He left to go back to North Carolina for a few months and he’ll be back up here hopefully in time for the wedding. Pat wants him to be his best man so much and I hope it can happen. That would make the day even more special. Anyways, stayed up there for awhile, then we went back and got Ellen. We then dropped her off and Liz’s house [her youngest daughter] and Pat and I went and seen his dad. That man is amazing. I love him so much. I am the most comfortable when I am around him. For 2 hours Pat, his dad, his girl friend, and I sat and talked about everything. We told his dad as well that I’m pregnant. He’s happy. We left around 10:30 that night and got back to the house at midnight. I went pee, got my pj’s on, climbed into bed, started to watch “Designing Women” and passed out.

Pat is all excited about the baby. I am trying to stay calm and not get my hopes up. The last time I did, well we all know what happened. I’m just trying to stay stress free so everything goes good. Don’t get me wrong, I am utter EXCITED about the baby. I just want everything to go well. I go to the doctors for my 8 week check up on the 21st. I think when I hit the 8 week mark I’ll start to relax a little more.

On a good note though, the little bugger is growing. My hips feel like they’re being pulled left and right, my breasts hurt and they’re heavy as hell, I’m tired constantly, and have to pee every 2-3 hours. I feel old…I have to have a nap daily or else I’ll never make it. I know when I am starting to over do it when I start getting a headache. Once that happens, I lay down and feel much better. I still haven’t told my mom yet. I don’t plan on telling my family until I know I’m in the clear. Just don’t know how I can keep something like this from my mom and dad for long…well see.

School started back up today. I have 18 days left of classes. Then Christmas break and on January 29 starts the 2nd semester. I did register for classes on Tuesday. I did get the ones that I wanted but one. Before I can get into a French class I have to take a French exam [which I plan on doing tomorrow] to see where they need to place me. But I got into the GST math class, Psychology, and Philosophy. Very excited.

Oh, before I forget I was asked in a note [that was sent by and unknown noter] why my engagement ring isn’t on my left hand. It is on my left hand it’s just the way the picture is took. They picture is flipped, but it is on my left hand.
