POEM

This is a poem that I wrote for Nate.  Its got parts of the song “Still” in it, but I took out verses and put my own words in it….so yeah!!  Here goes.

Funny when you stop and think,
Time goes faster then you blink,
And nothing’s ever like it was,
But you and I have a special thing.
All the happiness you bring to my life,
Is more than enough.

It’s not too hard to believe
That you’re still the biggest part of me,
And you’re all I’m living for.

Its hard to breath when we’re apart.
You’re like sunshine in my heart.
You’ve been everything to me,
And you always will be.

If you love me,
Look into my eyes and say you do.
I’ve been waiting my entire life,
For someone like you.
After all that we’ve been through,
I’m still in love with you,
As much as I was before,
And more.

I still think about you
I still dream about you
I still want you and need you by my side.
I’m still mad about you,
All I ever wanted was you,
And through all the stuff we have been through,
You’re still the one.
